Normal, binomial and Poisson distribution calculator

Your files never leave your computer: everything runs in your browser.

Forget the tables: calculate P(a ≤ X ≤ b) for a normal distribution, the value that leaves a given area, or binomial and Poisson probabilities — for lists of values too.

How to use it

  1. Pick the type: Normal PD/CD, Inverse Normal, Binomial or Poisson.
  2. Enter the values (x, σ, μ, N, p or λ), pressing =.
  3. Press = to see the probability. Example: Normal CD from −1 to 1 with σ=1, μ=0 → 0.6827.

Frequently asked questions

Does it do the inverse normal?

Yes: area 0.975, σ=1 and μ=0 gives 1.96.

Can I calculate several x values at once?

Yes, for binomial and Poisson by choosing “Lista” (list).
