Convert Markdown to HTML
Markdown is a simple way to write formatted text with symbols, like # for headings or **bold**. It's used for notes, programming documentation, GitHub and apps like Obsidian or Notion. This tool turns your .md file into an HTML page ready to view, print or share.
Step by step
- In Pro Arsenal, choose MD ➔ HTML.
- Pick or drop your
.mdor.markdownfile. - Press Convert. An
.htmlfile with the same name downloads. - Double-click it: it opens in your browser with a clean, readable design.
Which elements are converted
| You write in Markdown | Result |
|---|---|
# Heading, ## Subheading | Headings of different levels |
**bold**, *italics* | bold, italics |
- item or 1. item | Bulleted or numbered lists |
[text](https://…) | Links |
`code` and ``` blocks | Code on a grey background |
Tables with | | HTML tables |
The conversion uses marked, a popular library compatible with GitHub-flavoured Markdown.
Common uses
- Printing your notes or saving them as PDF: open the HTML and use Print → Save as PDF.
- Sending documentation to someone without a Markdown editor.
- Publishing a simple page on your website or hosting.
Limitations
- Images with local paths (
) only show if the HTML file sits in the same folder as the image. - LaTeX math and diagrams (Mermaid) are shown as plain text.
- Any HTML inside the Markdown is kept as-is: only convert files that are yours or that you trust.
Privacy
The text is converted in your browser and the HTML file is created on your device: your notes are never uploaded to a server.
